Telstra - Australia's largest telecommunications company - has retained the services of Mammoth Media since 2001 to provide a comprehensive solution for online gaming for its broadband service, BigPond. BigPond is Australia's largest provider of broadband Internet services, with thousands of avid gamers. Mammoth developed GameArena, a service integrating GameCreate, COGS and other technologies to create a unique, fully-featured gaming service for Australian users.

BigPond Files is an exclusive service for BigPond customers. Providing a fast, local mirror for a number of freeware and open source products, including a large number of Linux distributons, BigPond Files has become one of the most widely used content services on the BigPond network. FeedZero.com

Feedzero.com is a free service that helps users filter content from Internet feeds. The core of FeedZero.com is an adaptive filtering mechanism that learns what information customers are interested in. It uses the same bayesian technology as industry-leading spam filtering software to effectively classify incoming information in a way that makes it easy to keep up with the information that the user wants to know about.

BigPond Music

Mammoth Media began initial development on the BigPond Music in 2006, which at the time was selling WMA tracks. The site has been undergoing continuous development work since then, including a migration to MP3 in 2008 and the removal of WMA tracks in 2009. Mammoth Media continues to work closely with many different Telstra divisions to enhance the site and increase customer satisfaction.

GameNow

GameNow is a subscription-based Games on Demand service for Australian broadband users, offering access to a huge variety of games for a low monthly fee. Casual gamers are able to experience a huge variety of popular titles by simply downloading them to their PC. Mammoth Media created the GameNow website and integrated the core technology used to deliver titles to users, and continue to maintain and support the service.

Telecom New Zealand came to Mammoth Media to provision a full online game solution for their broadband service. Mammoth Media's solution for Telecom New Zealand's Xtra MSN® brand consisted of our core product suite: the COGS® Game Client, the Triumph Content and Community Management System, and GameCreate®. Mammoth software and services is now behind New Zealand's largest collection of game servers. Mammoth worked closely with several teams within Xtra MSN, in conjunction with EDS, and took on operational management of the environment in addition to providing community and content management throughout the Xtra Games website.

BigPond Weather

Mammoth Media developed BigPond Weather in just over 2 months in 2006. The goal was to develop a ambitious "Web 2.0" site without the use of Flash requiring zero maintenance. A sophisticated auto-update mechanism built with a variety of components built in C++ and C#/.NET ingest XML data from a variety of sources to populate the site with data and ensure it is reliably kept up-to-date with the latest weather information.
