Mammoth Media created Windows (C++ WTL) and Mac OSX (Cocoa/C++ hybrid) applications to enable BigPond customers to easily download purchased content on BigPond Music. The two applications share a common core that allows for new features to be rapidly deployed to both versions of the application; while as native C++ applications the software is still a small download for customers and able to be left permanently running. Initial deployment of the software was made on BigPond Music allowing customers to download potentially hundreds of tracks at a time with a single click.
